D'Real Grew up on Vulcan but showed a natural ability to be analytical. Her parents were basically farmers, and grew plants, and vegetables, but she had aspirations of leaving the valley. Her childhood saw alot of ribbing for her blonde hair, which was uncommon among vulcans. In 2380 she applied for the academy, and scored high enough to be accepted on the first try. She graduated in 2384, and posted on the USS Vega (NCC-73517). She moved up in ranks due to attrition as the Vega was caught in a Quantum flux string that saw 43 of her crew perished. It was her thinking, and abilities that got the ship running, and saved the remaining crew. She was honored with a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
In 2386 she was selected by Captain Damien Lucifel to be Helm Officer on the USS Striker just prior to her Lieutenant promotion. In 2387 she was abducted along with the crew by the Zentradi, yet her visions of them remain clear as oppose to the other crew members. Later that year, she was aboard the USS Crusader (NCC-51492) in transit, when they fell into an attack by Pirate ships. The entire incident was a Telepathic image projected by the Talosians in an effort to Capture Captain Candela Greene, and D'Real. After subjected to numerous Telepathic experiments, as well as DNA extraction, D'Real was involuntarily impregnated by Candela Greene. The Crusader would rescue D'real, and unknown at the time, Candela Greene clone Nova. 2388 saw D'real back on duty, but pregnant. After the return of the true Candela Greene, they agreed on letting the new child to be raised on Vulcan (planet), and her name will be T'Van.
